We are currently recruiting for a content writer to join our passionate and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with to support the needs of the organisation through content and copywriting for the website, social channels and general press.
OVERVIEW
Based in our Bolton office, the Content and Copywriter will be responsible for the creation and publishing of all content to support our social channels, Website and wider press releases.
Working with the wider marketing department which consists of, Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, Videographer, Illustrator and SEO specialist; this position will be critical to the creation of content and the department success of achieve targets and project creation on a tight timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with developing the awareness of the company and the brand by the creation of the content writing as part of a wider campaign.
- Creating blogs, article and content writing to support the campaigns in line with the current marketing strategy.
- Maintaining relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure strong collaboration in promotional activities.
- Writing and proofreading marketing copy for both online and print campaigns to support the wider aims of the campaigns.
- Working closely with the current marketing department to ensure all works are completed to standard and on time with a main focus of growing the output of the marketing department.
Requirements:
- Hold a qualification relevant to writing – Journalism, Content Writing, English Literature etc.
- Be creatively focused with strong knowledge on effective marketing techniques and concepts.
- Someone who is organised and proactive, with an ability to meet strict timelines in an effective manner, whilst working under pressure.
- Be fully computer literate with a strong understanding of web technology.
- Someone who is adaptable and amenable with a natural ability to be able to prioritise workload.
- A candidate who can work cooperatively and effectively with the wider department to enhance organisational effectiveness.
